Last weekend, I visited a very cool, off-the-grid, environmentally friendly home in Hope Valley. This was one of the stops on the annual Green Buildings Open House tour organized by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.
Ray Cayer's round house, built of concrete, is durable, well-insulated, easy to build and maintain, affordable, and crafted mainly from local materials. Check out our exclusive NNN Slideshow for a narrated, five-minute tour.
