Founded in 1982 as Keep Providence Beautiful, Groundwork Providence (GWP) is an education organization dedicated to buiilding a cleaner,safer,more beautiful city through environmental programs such as the Providence Neighborhood Plating Program,spring and fall Clean-Ups, Environmental Job Training Program, Sustainable Landscaping Job Training Program, Summer Green Teams and more.
