Solar Design and Production Associate
SolarWrights is seeking a Solar Design and Production Associate for our Cape Cod, South Yarmouth, MA office.
SolarWrights is a socially and environmentally responsible business serving the Northeast with attractive, efficient renewable energy systems, including photovoltaic, solar thermal, and wind systems.

Making renewable energy more broadly available is our goal. SolarWrights' standardized systems offer our customers high quality installations without the high cost of "one-off" systems. SolarWrights has excellent factory direct relationships with key manufacturers.
Position Overview:
SolarWrights is currently seeking an Assistant Production Manager for our Cape Cod office who will manage residential and commercial solar installations on Cape Cod and support the outreach efforts of our Cape Cod sales force.
This energetic, pleasant, and independent person’s responsibilities will include:
• Conducting site evaluation (ability to climb on a roof preferred) and developing initial system design based on SolarWrights standardized systems (CAD experience a plus).
• Working with SolarWrights central design department to coordinate final design, create accurate estimates (Excel experience and an attention to detail required), and finalize contracts.
• Tracking installation and commissioning of systems and getting local permits.
• Supporting the sales and community outreach efforts on the Cape including basic office management, filing, and communicating with customers.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 2 years of experience.
Education: College degree or equivalent experience required. Environmental studies, design, engineering, and business majors preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, sustainable design, and good construction practices. Familiarity with Excel/spreadsheets and CAD or other drafting program.
Skills: Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills required.
Disposition: SolarWrights is a rapidly growing and entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to improving the environment, working hard, and providing the highest quality customer service and renewable energy systems installations.
