Two great new blogs to tell you about.

Art & Nature, posted by awesome local artist Kathy Hodge, explores the intersection of those two passions. Today, she wonders about the proper way to dispose of art-studio debris. Other days, she'll muse about her travels, her latest painting, other interesting work she's seen, the view of the Moon from her backyard, and for you fellow artists out there, the finer points of materials and techniques. All of it illustrated with glimpses of her work in progress and great photographs. Click here to check it out.

Chip Young, known to many as half of the Phoenix's Phillipe & Jorge writing team, is also an environmental communicator in his daytime life. He works out of the Coastal Institute, at URI's lovely Bay Campus in Narragansett. His latest online venture is a blog called It's Your World: Welcome To It, hosted by Channel 10. Chip has worked with Channel 10 for several years to produce their URI Watershed Report. The blog is brand-new, with just a few posts, and they focus on news about the state of the Bay.  Click here to visit.
