| 75 Words: Your Take on Summer |

With a beautiful Memorial Day weekend just past us, a Rhode Island summer is just about here. Many of us have memories of long, lazy summers, riding bikes, swimming in ponds and rivers, exploring the local woods, going barefoot, climbing trees, trips to the beach. It seems harder all the time to get outside, and even kids are spending their free time indoors.
Do you find yourself spending less time outside than you used to, or less than you'd like? Do you make an effort to connect with nature? How do you do it? Do you drag friends and family out there too? Do you have a favorite R.I. place or activity? Do you think it's inevitable that we'll lose our connection to nature, or do we need to preserve it somehow?
Tell us what you think, in 75 words (more or less)…. just click on the Comment link under the headline, and join our conversation!
(Archive: It's not too late to add your two cents on Sustainability.)
