Bicyclists often take to the streets in Providence to promote their chosen means of transport -- which is healthy, emissions-free, quiet, and better in just about every way to city cars. This Sunday, Oct. 12, they are riding eight miles not only to promote biking, but to show support for Barack Obama. “His environmental policies just sound a little bit better than what McCain’s offering -- Drill, baby, drill," organizer Sarah Sandman told the Providence Phoenix this week.
