Rhode Island is lucky to be home to thousands of environmental advocates, and dozens of organizations working to promote a greener, more abundant state. This is your guide to find out more about them, volunteer if you'd like to, learn about fun events you can take part in, and be a part of building your state's green future.

Here's a quick guide to where you can find community access and info via the NNN Web site.

Community Calendar ... Our popular calendar, provided by the What Grows On in Rhode Island Web site, lists events from all around the state. You can add your own events via the What Grows On site, just click here.

Green Jobs ... Job listings are posted in the Green Jobs section of the NNN Classifieds. You can access the Classifieds by clicking the Classifieds link in the top right sidebar on the NNN home page. That link will also lead you to the instructions for posting your own ad. Classifieds are free!

Advocacy ... Local groups and individuals donate countless hours to keep an eye on our government and industry, and speak up on behalf of our environment. You can support their efforts in whatever way works for you -- volunteer, or send money, or just say thanks. To learn more, click on our Advocacy link in the top menu bar on the NNN home page. To keep up with the latest NNN news about local advocacy campaigns, click on the "Advocacy" link under "Categories" in the left sidebar on the NNN home page.
